Ahh... Squashed!!
It was a lazy sunday...
We didn't plan to go anywhere far because of the Man U vs Newcastle match at 3pm. Only thing was, we went to at least 3 pubs to find out that all the pubs are not showing the match (one claimed that it wasn't shown on tv)... oh and coincidentally, we met kah hee with his friend at a road junction and they were searching for a pub that shows the match too. lol... we ended up somewhere in victoria park so we went to visit his room. and goodness!! he has an attached toilet in his room!?!?! but honestly, i still prefer whitworth park because of the ideal location and the cute slanted wall above me now...
Okay, so we headed back after our adventure in dalton ellis hall... It was only 4+ pm... And ha, i think i absolutely made the right choice to suggest playing squash in whitworth. Booking of the court is free... and... basically.. it was fun!!! hl and sf didn't join in tho. it was just me, des, ulrich and fred... and it was sorta my first time playing!!! (the only time i played was when i was REALLY TRULY YOUNG and i injured my toe so i kinda avoided the game altogether)... Learnt abt the rules from them and some basic techniques (des' 5 mins tutorial working well?)... haha... Ok, i know my strength and speed is like a tenth of theirs but oh well, i'm a noob at it yah? and i'm a girl!!! ha... And goodness, ulrich and des are good (fred too) considering the fact that they only picked up the sport last week? Talent talent... some things really need the talent... ha... I think i got a little bit of it too... HAHAHAHA... self-praise is such disgrace... ok nvm that... but i'm sure to play it again... even if they dowanna play with me alr (cos my skills are like ten levels below them)... at most i'll play against the wall myself... maybe i can pick up squash when i go back singapore!
ahh... i've got muscleache in my arms and legs... but i love this feeling!! *muackz* the whole world...
GOOD MORNING MONDAY!!! It's a brand new day!! Gonna meet claudia babe and sf to go city centre. May buy a pair of boots i fancied at arndale (but geez, i must really curb my spending!)... ok... love to all.. have a great day... i'm on a good mood scale of 9/10!!
